Delhi Police Academy Celebrates International Yoga Day 2025 with Great Enthusiasm*

The Delhi Police Academy marked International Yoga Day 2025 with great fervor, organizing collective yoga sessions across its four campuses. The event saw active participation from 2500  trainees, trainers, and senior officials, highlighting the importance of yoga in promoting physical and mental well-being.

At the Dwarka campus, Shri Asif Mohammad Ali, IPS, Joint Director, led by example, participating in a yoga session with 600 trainees and trainers.

Similarly, at the Wazirabad campus, Shri Mohammad Ali, IPS, Deputy Director, joined 900 trainees and trainers in a yoga session, underscoring the commitment to holistic health.

At the Jharoda Kalan campus, Assistant Directors Shri Anil Kumar and Shri Richpal participated in a yoga session with approximately 1000 trainees and trainers, further reinforcing the academy's emphasis on wellness.

The Abhanpura Commando Campus also witnessed a yoga session, with the staff enthusiastically participating and embracing the benefits of yoga.

The oversight and visionary approach of Sh. Sanjay Kumar, IPS, Special CP/Training has played a key role in best outcomes at the training Academy.


Through this initiative, the Delhi Police Academy reaffirms its commitment to fostering a culture of wellness and fitness among its personnel, ultimately contributing to a more focused and efficient workforce.
