🔹️ *BOTH THE ACCUSED ARE PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 05 OTHER CASES OF BURGLARY, THEFT AND SNATCHING TOO*

🔹️ *TWO STOLEN GAS CYLINDERS AND CASH RS. 2000/- RECOVERED & SEIZED*

🚨 *POLICE STATION: NIHAL VIHAR* 🚨

▶️ *BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:*

On 14.07.2025, a complaint was registered at Police Station Nihal Vihar vide e-FIR No. 80066123/25 under section 305/331(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The complainant reported that at Chander Vihar, Veer Bazar, near Laxmi Narayan Mandir, one gas cylinder and ₹ 7,500/- in cash had been stolen from her house after breaking the door lock.

⏩️ *TEAM CONSTITUTION:*

On receipt of the complaint, a dedicated team, comprising HC Laxman, HC Gajanand, HC Shailander, led by Inspr. Shispal, SHO/Nihal Vihar under the close supervision of Sh. Patil Swagat Rajkumar, ACP/Paschim Vihar was constituted.

▶️⏩️ *OPERATION AND INTERROGATION:*

During the course of investigation, the police team carried out a detailed examination of CCTV footage from in and around the vicinity of the crime scene. Through careful analysis, the movement of the accused was tracked—showing one individual carrying a gas cylinder, followed by another. Also, the faces of the accused persons were clearly captured in the footage.

The photographs obtained from the footage were circulated among confidential informers to assist in identification and develop actionable human intelligence.

On 14.06.2025, acting on specific input received from a secret informer regarding the presence of both of the accused in Chander Vihar, Nihal Vihar; a well-coordinated raid was planned and successfully executed. As a result, both of the accused persons were apprehended from the location. They were later identified as Simarjeet Singh and Makil.

Upon sustained interrogation, both accused confessed to their involvement in the burglary.

🔹️Based on their disclosure, the following stolen items were recovered and seized:

👉 Two Stolen Gas Cylinders
👉 Cash amounting to ₹2,000/-

Both individuals have been arrested and all recovered items have been seized in connection with the ongoing investigation.

⏩️⏩️ *MODUS OPERANDI:*

The accused used to conduct reconnaissance during the daytime and later break into locked houses at night to commit burglary.

1. Simarjeet Singh, R/o Nihal Vihar, Delhi, Age 32 yrs ( *He is previously involved in 05 other criminal cases of burglary, snatching and theft too*).

2. Makil, R/o Chander Vihar, Delhi, Age 31 yrs (*He is previously involved in 05 other criminal cases of burglary, snatching and theft too*).

1. Two Stolen Gas Cylinders
2. Cash amount Rs. 2000/-

Further investigation is underway.
