*🚨 POLICE STATION: NANGLOI*

Under the leadership of the DCP, all personnel have been actively briefed to adopt a zero-tolerance approach towards anti-social elements. Patrolling has been intensified, presence has been made visible, and every beat staff has been tasked with proactive community engagement — ensuring not just law enforcement, but public assurance.

*⏭️OPERATION-I:*

On 19.07.2025, during patrolling near Nangloi Railway Station Metro Station, patrolling team of PS Nangloi comprising Ct. Devender, Ct. Sudhir and Ct. Vikrant noticed a person shouting “Chor! Chor!” chasing two suspects. Sensing something amiss, the alert patrol team immediately sprang into action and managed to corner down one of the suspects. When the team tried to apprehend him, he took out a blade from his pocket and injured himself and with intent to restrain the police officers from excersing the lawful power. The apprehended suspect was taken to SGM Hospital and he was identified as Rohan@Doctor. Personal search of accused Rohan@Doctor was conducted and  two mobile phones were recovered from his possession. On  checking, both mobile phones were found to be stolen from PS Nangloi in e-FIR No 80144501/2024 and 80142698/2024.

After treatment, the suspect Rohan@Doctor was brought to PS Nangloi and a case  vide FIR No 282/25, Dt 20/07/25, U/s 307/226/3(5) BNS was registered on the statement of complainant in which he stated that he returned from Khatu Shyam Mandir, Alipur by bus and when he got down from bus near Nangloi Railway Station Metro Station, then one boy tried to take her mobile phone from his pocket and when complainant resisted him, one of his associate who stood beside the complainant, threatened him by showing a blade. Thereafter, they fled away after taking the mobile phone of the complainant and who was apprehended by the police officers.

On further verification, he was found BC of PS Nangloi and previously involved in 10 other criminal cases including Robbery, Snatching, Theft etc.

During sustained interrogation, accused Rohan@Doctor disclosed whereabouts of his co-accused Javed@Sohaib, who was also nabbed near Kirari Railway Crossing. On the instance of accused Javed@Sohaib, two mobile phones including the one which is case property in FIR No. 282/25, PS Nangloi were recovered. The another recovered mobile phone is being verified.

Both accused persons were arrested and all recovered items were seized as case properties.

*⏭️OPERATION-II:*

On 21.07.2025, while on patrolling duty in the jurisdiction of PS Nangloi, Head Constable Vinod Prasad and Head Constable Naveen heard a female shouting for help at Nangloi Chowk who was crying out "Chor! Chor!" and pointing towards three individuals fleeing on foot. Without wasting a moment, the alert patrol team sprang into action and managed to apprehend all three suspects, identified as Vishal, Javed and Aftab Shah on enquiry.

The complainant ‘M’ stated that she boarded an RTV bus at Nangloi Chowk. Three unknown persons also boarded the same RTV bus. Upon reaching a crossing, she observed that one of them took out her mobile phone from her bag and when she was about to raise an alarm, she noticed a knife in the pocket of one of the accused. After that, all three persons got down from the RTV bus alongwith the stolen phone and trying to escape, which were nabbed by the staff. The stolen mobile phone and one knife were recovered from their possession. On further verification, accused Vishal & Javed were found previously involved in 31 & 13 other criminal cases respectively.

Accordingly, on the statement of the complainant, a case vide FIR No. 286/2025 u/s 307/318(2)/3(5) of BNS was registered at PS Nangloi.

All three accused persons were arrested in the case and the recovered stolen mobile phone alongwith the knife was seized.
