*COMMUNITY OUTREACH POGRAMME IN WEST DISTRICT*

👉 *_A COMMUNITY POLICING PROGRAMME “WE CARE” ORGANIZED IN WEST DISTRICT_*
👉  *_NUKKAD NATAK ON THE THEME OF "SAY NOT TO DRUGS" WAS ALSO ORGANIZED_*

In order to reach out to the community and to develop a strong bonding with the public, a Community Policing Programme “WE CARE" dedicated to Sr. Citizens, school children/girls/women and young adolescents was conducted at MCD Park, Vikas Puri Delhi and Satyawati Park Janak Puri. Team of Cyber Police Station West District and Trainers from SPUWAC addressed the gathering during the programme. Interactive session was also orgnised on the topic of Cyber Fraud. More than 300 persons attended this programme.
The highlight of the programme was Delhi Police Orchestra band who performed and entertained the gathering. In order to sensitize the youth, Nukkad Natak on the theme of “SAY NOT TO DRUGS” was also organized. As part of this programme, a WhatsApp number (6828401608) has been shared with the public, urging them to report any drug-related activities in their vicinity. The identity of the informant will remain confidential. To reach a broader audience, flyers are being distributed at various locations, the number is being displayed during breaks in all cinemas in the West District, posters have been posted in all parks, and street plays have been staged to promote a drug-free lifestyle and encourage participation in the campaign.
