04 AUTO-LIFTERS ARRESTED WITH 04 TWO-WHEELERS, BY THE TEAM OF PS DWARKA SOUTH, DWARKA DISTRICT.

•    ALL 04 ARRESTED HAVE PREVIOUS CRIMINAL INVOLVEMENTS.
•    ACCUSED DEEPAK WAS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 16 CASES OF SNATCHING, ARMS ACT, ETC.
•    ACCUSED BABLU IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 05 CASES OF THEFT & SNATCHING.

    BRIEF DETAILS OF INCIDENT:-

On 17.06.2025, an information was received that 01 scooty was stolen from parking of Indra Gandhi Hospital, Sector-09, Dwarka. As per the statement of victim, a case vide e-FIR No. 016720/25, Dt. 17.06.2025, U/s 305 B BNS was registered at PS Dwarka South and investigation was taken up.

    TEAM AND OPERATION:-

A dedicated team comprising HC Surender No. 764/DW, HC Mahesh No. 425/DW, HC Bhushan No. 434/DW, HC Sudhir No. 987/DW, HC Dilbagh No. 1359/DW & Ct. Dipti Lal No. 1532/DW under the supervision of SHO/Dwarka South - Inspr. Rajesh Kumar Sah was constituted to work out the vehicle theft case.

The police team reached the spot and started searching for the auto lifter(s). More than 70 CCTV cameras were checked in vicinity of spot of motorcycle theft and local informers were also activated. Technical and manual information was also collected.

As per information collected, 03 persons were suspected to be involved in the above mentioned case. However at that time, their photos were only obtained through CCTV. Further dossiers of criminals involved in such types of crimes were checked and physical verification was also done in addition to the endeavors undertaken in this regard through FRS recognition and showing of their photos to local informers.

Local informers identified 02 of them as Kala and Chhapra and it was learnt that both randomly drive e-Rickshaws in Dwarka and also apprised that they are previously involved in criminal cases but were unable to confirm their addresses.

Further their photos were shown to e-Rickshaw drivers at metro stations and other places & it transpired that they are residing in Goyala Dairy.

A trap was laid to track both the accused. They were apprehended by the team of PS Dwarka South. They were identified as:-

1.    Ravi Ranjan @ Chhapra S/o Suresh Sah, aged 22 Years.
2.    Sahil @ Kala S/o Rashid, aged 20 Years.

On interrogation, they confessed their involvement in the scooty theft case and also disclosed they are drug addicts and one more person namely:-

Deepak @ Cheela @ Model S/o Prem Shankar, age 24 years was involved with them in the case of scooty theft. A local informer confirmed that he is a BC of PS Chhawla and a very desperate criminal, very difficult to arrest, however the team had laid down a trap to arrest him. After multiple efforts, he was trapped by the team of PS Dwarka South.

On interrogation, they said that they had stolen the scooty but they have sold it to one Bablu whose wareabouts were not known to them. However, they provided his contact number, through which, he was traced and arrested from Vill. Fathepur Rampur, Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.

He was identified as Bablu @ Madari @ Murari S/o Gopal Yadav, aged 26 Years. Stolen scooty No. DL9SBYXXXX make TVS NTORQ, colour - Black was recovered from his possession.

On further interrogation, they revealed that the M/cycle they have used for theft of Scooty was also stolen from area of PS Sector 23, Dwarka and that they had stolen 02 more M/cycles. After some time, on disclosure of the accused persons, one No. HR13TXXXX, Make Hero Splendor Plus, Colour Black which was stolen from the area of PS Sector 23 Dwarka was also recovered.

One M/cycle No. DL9SCFXXXX, Make Hero Splendor plus, Colour Black which was stolen from the area of PS Dabri & one M/cycle No. DL4SCZXXXX, Make Hero Splendor plus, Colour Black which was stolen from the area of PS Palam Village were also recovered.

2.    Sahil @ Kala S/o Rashid, R/o Bhai-Bhai Road, Solanki Chowk, Qutub Vihar, Phase 01, Goyala Dairy, New Delhi, aged 20 Years.
3.    Deepak @ Cheela @ Model S/o Prem Shankar, R/o Qutub Vihar, Delhi, aged 24 years.
4.    Bablu @ Madari @ Murari S/o Gopal Yadav, R/o Bhai-Bhai Road, Solanki Chowk, Qutub Vihar, Gola Dairy, New Delhi, aged 26 Years.
