With the arrest of accused involved in firing incident team PS Nand Nagri apprehended his female accomplice and recovered the pistol used in offence and a Mahindra Thar vehicle.
On 23.06.25, an intimation regarding admission of a persons with gunshot injury was received from GTB Hospital.
On reaching the hospital victim namely Vinay S/o Chanderpal R/o Pratap Nagar, Saboli, age- 30 yrs reported that in the early morning hours he was coming from Amit Vihar in his rickshaw, when he was taking U-turn near Gagan Cinema T-point his rickshaw touched with a black color SUV. The SUV driver allegedly fired at Vinay and fled the scene in his vehicle. 
Accordingly, a case u/s 109(1)/3(5) BNS & 27 Arms Act was registered at PS Nand Nagri and investigation was taken up. 
During course of investigation, a dedicated team led by Inspr. Anand Yadav, SHO/PS Nand Nagri under the supervision of ACP/Nand Nagri scanned and thoroughly analysed the CCTV footages and gathered the clues from other sources. On the basis of collected evidences the team managed to identify and arrest the accused involved in firing. The accused was identified as Sameer Sharma s/o Ravinder Sharma r/o Madhuban, Nirman Vihar, Delhi age- 46 yrs. On his instance, his female accomplice was also apprehended.
The weapon of offence a pistol and black colour Thar DL-6CR-9009 had also been seized.
Further investigation in the case is on-going.
