🔰 STOLEN GOLD & SILVER JEWELLERY, 03 STOLEN MOBILES RECOVERED.
🔰 HE WAS HIDING IN UTTAM NAGAR AFTER HIS ASSOCIATE WAS ARRESTED ON 30.06.2025 BY ANTI-BURGLARY CELL.
🔰 HIS ARREST WARRANTS HAD ALSO BEEN GOT ISSUED IN A THEFT CASE OF PS MOHAN GARDEN, DELHI.
🔰 ACCUSED MUNCHUN JHA IS *PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 17 CASES* OF SNATCHINGS, BURGLARY & HOUSE THEFTS.
🔰 04 CASES OF BURGLARY, HOUSE THEFTS & OTHER THEFTS WORKED OUT WITH HIS ARREST.
The team of *Anti-Burglary Cell, Dwarka District* has arrested one active burglar - *Munchun S/o Dhirender,* aged 24 years and recovered 02 pairs of silver anklets, 01 pair of silver hathphool, 01 gold mangalsurta, 02 gold nose pins & 03 stolen mobiles from his possession.
🟡 *INCIDENT:-*
On 19.06.2025, *complainant Sh. Aslam Ali S/o Mukhtar Ahmad,* R/o Gali No. 14, Mahavir Enclave, Dabri, Delhi reported a case of burglary of gold and silver jewellery from his residence on the intervening night of 17-18.06.2025.
Accordingly, a case vide *e-FIR No 80058355/2025, U/s 305/331(4) BNS, PS Dabri, Delhi* was registered in this regard by the local police.
🟡 *TEAM & TASKING:-*
As per the directions of *DCP Dwarka Delhi,* the Anti-Burglary Cell Dwarka Delhi was entrusted with the task of arresting the active burglars involved in high value burglary cases of Dwarka District.
A dedicated team of *Anti-Burglary Cell, Dwarka, Delhi,* under the leadership of Insp. Vivek Maindola - I/C Anti Burglary Cell, Dwarka, Delhi, consisting of SI Vinod No. 947-D, HC Naresh No. 536/DW, HC Krishan No. 687/DW, Ct. Praveen No. 1479/DW, Ct. Subhash No. 981/DW was formed under the overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar - ACP/Operations Dwarka to execute the directions of *DCP Dwarka, Delhi* and to arrest the burglars involved in the above-said case.
🟡 *INVESTIGATION:-*
The above-mentioned team worked tirelessly for 10 days and were able to identify and arrest one active burglar and BC of PS Palam Village namely *Himanshu @ Pota,* aged 27 years on 30.06.2025 and recovered stolen gold jewellery of the case.
On his interrogation, the name of his *associate* in the crime was identified as Munchun, also a career burglar of PS Palam Village. The team then collected vital information about the accused Munchun and found that his arrest warrants are pending in case *FIR No. 53/2020, U/s 379/411 IPC, PS Mohan Garden, Delhi.*
The search for the accused Munchun Jha was intensified. The team mounted manual and technical surveillance over the accused Munchun based on which several raids were conducted at Sagarpur, Nasirpur, Dabri, Palam, Bindapur and Uttam Nagar but every time he managed to escape at the eleventh hour. The team did not lose hope and continued their efforts.
🟡 *INFORMATION & ARREST:-*
The continuous work of the team paid off when one of the informers of HC Anil informed that Munchun will come with stolen property at Ambedkar Park, JJ Colony, Uttam Nagar, Delhi, at about 05:30 pm. The team immediately set up a trap at said place. At 05:35 pm, the suspect was intercepted by the team. The road was blocked by the team members, after which the Munchun tried to escape, but alert staff nabbed him without giving him a chance.
During his search, 02 pairs of silver anklets, 01 pair of silver hathphool, 01 gold mangalsurta, 02 gold nose pins & 03 stolen mobiles from his possession.
The recovered articles were taken into police possession through seizure memos and the accused were arrested.
*ACCUSED ARRESTED:-*
- *Munchun S/o Dhirender,* R/o Gali No. 7, Mahavir Enclave-1, Dabri, Delhi, aged 24 years.
🟡 *INTERROGATION:-*
The accused was interrogated at length and it was found that he was born in Bihar’s Vaishali District. He completed his basic primary education in his native village. In 2004, his family shifted to Delhi for a better future and in search of a job. The father of the accused Munchun, started working as a cleaner in Sulabh in Mahavir Enclave Palam Delhi.
His father and mother were labourers. He studied up to class 7th, after which he left his studies and came into contact with bad elements, due to which he got addicted to smack. To fund his addiction, he started committing snatchings, burglaries and house theft. *He has previously been involved in 17 cases.*
