Accused Vikas @ Saka wanted in a murder case of Rajasthan, arrested from Village Barwala area, near Rohini, Delhi after brief exchange of fire between the accused and the police party
Accused associated with infamous Jitender Gogi gang arrested with recovery of 01 semi automatic pistol, 3 live cartridges, 01 mobile phone, 01 dongle and a stolen motorcycle

A team of Special Cell/NR and STF, led by Inspector Rakesh Kumar and Inspector Amit Nara, under the supervision of Rahul Kumar Singh, ACP/ Special Cell/Northern Range has successfully apprehended a notorious sharpshooter associated with the Jitender "Gogi" gang namely Vikas @ Saka (32 years), S/o Tilak Chand, a resident of VPO Bupania, Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in a Murder case of Khairthal Tijara, Rajasthan following a shootout in Village Barwala area, near UER II, Outer north distt., Delhi.

Incident:-  

In May 2025, the accused, Vikas alias Saka, along with his accomplices, murdered a man from his village Bupania, Jhajjar, Haryana. To prevent identification, they severed the victim’s hand, which bore a tattoo, and subsequently dumped the burnt body in Khairthal Tijara Distt, Rajasthan. Following the incident, an FIR No. 193/25 was registered at PS Kishan Garh Bans, Khairthal Tijara, Rajasthan. Accused is currently wanted in the above murder case by Rajasthan police.

Team, Development of Information and Operation:-

Based on secret information, it was revealed that in the intervening night of May 23-24, 2025, Vikas @ Saka, a prime suspect, in a Murder case of Rajasthan, a member of infamous Gogi gang, was expected to arrive around Village Barwala, Delhi with arms. Further, it was also learnt that he was wanted criminal in a murder case registered vide FIR No. 193/25 at PS Kishan Garh Bans, Khairthal Tijara Rajasthan. 
Upon receiving the secret information, a dedicated raiding team was swiftly constituted and deployed to the location and a trap was laid down. Around midnight, accused Vikas @ Saka was spotted on a motorcycle and asked to stop, but accused did not stop and opened fire at police team. In self-defense, police team also fired at the accused in which the accused got shot in the right leg. The suspect was subdued and disarmed, and a semi-automatic pistol along with three live rounds was recovered from him. Accused was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment, and a case has been registered at PS Special Cell under the relevant sections of the law.

    Profile and Involvement of accused:-

Vikas @ Saka, is a notorious criminal hailing from the village of Bupania, Jhajjar, Haryana. He had studied up to class 10th and was influenced by the criminal elements since young age.  He gradually began associating with local criminals, which led to a growing involvement in illegal activities, including the unlawful possession of firearms. His criminal behavior escalated under the influence of members of the notorious Jitender alias Gogi gang. Over time, he became involved in a series of serious offenses. In 2014, he and his accomplice were arrested in a murder case registered at Police Station Beri, Jhajjar Haryana. More recently, he was hired by an accused who is in jail under the MCOCA Act to eliminate a rival in Bawana Delhi. In May 2025, the accused, Vikas alias Saka, along with his accomplices, murdered a man from his native village, Bupania, Jhajjar, Haryana. To conceal the victim’s identity, they dumped the burnt body in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kishan Garh Bans, Khairthal Tijara, Rajasthan.
